Smashbox Eyeliner

I have purchased this a while ago but I wanted to test how good this product is before I post a review about it.  Overall it is quite good I must say.  My eyes gets oily and smudges eyeliner easily so I am always on the hunt for long lasting eyeliner.

The consistency of this liner is quite creamy so it is very easy to apply.  I have plenty of time to apply my eyeliner before it settle.  I love this product so much and it has been my everyday go to product since I started using it.

Home Excercise

Let's blog about exercise today.  I have been exercising at least 3-4 times a week since August.  I only exercises at home now.  I used to go to gym but after MIA for about 6 months, I ended my membership. Initially I was very excited to join the gym but after couple of months, especially the winter time, I can't be bothered to go at all.  The gym is only 10 minutes walk away but the part that I hate most is after I work my arse off in the gym, it will be another gruesome 10 minutes walk (felt like 20 at that time) home.

So, I purchased some fitness DVD and I have never looked back since.  There is so many benefit
 in exercising at home:
  • I don't have to be concious on how I look.  I don't have a pretty naked face so I always have some make up on when I'm out.
  • No more walking in the freezing weather.
  • I can have extra 20 minutes me time.
  • I can collapse on my sofa after the gruesome exercise.
I don't mean that exercising at home is the best.  I just find that it suits my lifestyle and I feel more motivated to do it than going to the gym.

Here is the DVD that I am using at the moment.

I got all three from Amazon, less than £6 each.

What I love about these 2 is that I can customise my workout.  I can either have 50, 30, 20 or 10 minutes of exercise.  There really is no excuse for me not to do exercise.

This one is the hardcore fitness DVD.  I will visualize myself with those sexy abs to keep myself going whenever I feel like dying during the workout.

Regalrose Ring

I love accessories especially jewellery.  I bought this ring awhile ago but because it is such a beautiful ring, I just want to share it here.

I came across Regalrose from some fashion magazines.  This is the 1st purchase from the website and I am loving it.  I had my eye on the knuckle ring for some time now and the reason I love this ring even more is because it is rose gold plated.

I have been in love with rose gold since I first seen it in Malaysia years ago.  My wedding ring is rose gold and I get a lot of compliments on it all the time.  Rose gold has been quite popular for these past couple of seasons and I hope it will be for the next couple more.

I wore the ring for a few times now and I must say it is very good quality.  I like wash my hand a lot so that mean I don't have to take it off every time I do so.  It is a plain design that will go with any outfit.

Poundland Haul

I love bargain and enjoy the satisfaction when I find one.  Poundland is one of the place that can give me that satisfaction.  You can never know what you'll find in there. Let me show the picture of what I found yesterday.

Sally Hansen Hard As Nails in 07 White Tip.  I use it as a white nail colour as it is the summer colour that I wanted.  The texture is quite opaque so a minimum 2 coat application is recommended.

I wasn't sure the whether the Calvin Klein Tempting Glimmer Sheer Cream Eyeshadow in Bare Silk (301)
is authentic or not but I bought it anyway as it is, again, a £1.  I checked online and I can confirm that it is authentic so I am quite please on my decision to purchase it as RRP is £15.50.

Bargain of the day has to be this Stila Whitening Powder Foundation Refill. I think RRP for the foundation is £26. This will be my 1st Stila product.  I will probably use it as a setting powder as I have dry skin. I can't wait to start using this product.

Marc Jacobs Beauty

I just found out this news and I must share it as I am super excited.  I love everything about Marc Jacob as I have the fragrance and jewellery.  Unfortunately, the makeup will only be available in Sephora and MJ selected stores. Hopefully it will arrive in UK soon.  Here's some pictures to swoon at.

Summer Pedicure

The weather is so beautiful today and I just feel like having a summery pedicure to go with it.  It's just an excuse for me to give myself a manicure really.  The most important is the end result so this is what I used to create it.

I like having contrasting nail so I used a blue and coral undertones of pink. I bought the 2mm gold studs from ebay.

I have ugly bunions so I tried my best to make the manicure look pretty. And here's the close up to show a clear contrast of the colour.

Goodbye Cellulite

That is what most of us want right??  Cellulite can happen to anyone even skinny people. There is a lot of method that can help with getting rid of cellulite but most of them can cost quite a fortune but of course there is also an affordable method which is my all time favourite, Nivea Goodbye Cellulite Gel Cream.

This is my 4th bottles of the product and each bottle will last me couple of months.  I apply it on my outer thighs and buttocks, sometimes belly, after shower every night.  This gel cream is very light and absorbs very quickly. That is one of the reason I love about it, no massage required at all.

When I was going through my 1st bottle, I didn't take it with me during my 2 weeks holiday due to the weight.  When I came back later, I noticed that there was a lumpy texture on my thighs and I have been applying it religiously ever since.

Skincare Routine

I'm finally back from MIA.  I was telling myself that I must blog today and after a long thought, I think sharing my skincare routine will be a good start. Being brought up in Asian country has given me a big impact on the importance on taking care of my skin.  Before I moved to UK, I have flawless skin. On the first 2 years of living in Aberdeen, I started to develop freckles, now I know some girl would say its cute but to me that is not the case at all.  Anyway, having a good skin is so important and I think no one will disagree on that.

My skincare routine at the moment is mainly Origins.  Origins is a high performance natural skincare brand that uses certified organic ingredients and 100% natural essential oils.  The skincare is formulated without parabens, phthalates, propylene glycol, mineral oils, PABA, petrolatum, paraffin, DEA and animal ingredients.  What I love about Origins is also that they manufacture using a combination of renewable resources, wind energy and earth-friendly practises.

Well, enough information about Origins, let me show you the range that I use.

Planscription is Origins anti ageing range that can help to repair and prevent wrinkles.  I don't have wrinkles yet but I would definitely want to prevent it for as long as I can.  The Brighter By Nature serum is to help to remove pigmentation and even out skin tone but Origins has replaced it with Dr Weil Mega Bright serum which does the same job.

This is my daytime routine as you can see the moisturiser contains SPF.  Like I mentioned before I started to develop freckles is because I didn't use SPF moisturiser back then.  Living in UK has taught me a big lesson on using SPF.  Using SPF not only help to prevent pigmentation but also prevents aging as well.  That's because UV radiation can damage our skin in all sorts of way such as collagen breakdown, damaged DNA, texture changes things like that.

So back to my routine, the cleanser is very gentle foaming that also quite hydrating.  I have dry skin so my skin feels comfortable after using it and even though it cost £25, it lasts ages.  The treatment lotion is a hydrating milky texture and I replaced the top with a pump for easy dispense. I pat the lotion onto my face and it help to keep my skin hydrated for longer through the day .  Next I put the serum on and moisturiser then.  Lastly, I apply the eye cream with a gentle patting around my eyes. My skin texture has become better and more even since I started using these products and I must say Origins is my trusted brand.

Hope you enjoy reading this blog  ^_^
